Sandy Baruah   President and CEO   Sandy Baruah is the Chamber's leading voice for business in the Detroit region. You can regularly find him commentating on local and national politics, the automotive industry, or Detroit and Michigan issues.  After serving under two U.S. presidents - George W. Bush and George H. W. Bush - Sandy made his way to the Motor City. His broad understanding of key economic issues from his time in Washington, D.C. led Gov. Rick Snyder to appoint him as the chair of Michigan's 21st Century Economy Commission. Karen Belans   Chief Financial Officer   Behind the scenes, Karen Belans is the force behind the Chamber's financial and risk management, among many other things. Glenn Stevens   Vice President, Automotive and Mobility Initiatives; Executive Director, MICHauto   After more than 25 years in the automotive industry, Glenn Stevens brought his focus to the Chamber to promote, grow and retain Michigan's legacy industry. Whether it be traditional automotive or next-generation mobility, Glenn is an expert on industry issues and opportunities.  Glenn has made it his mission to build the talent pipeline for the automotive and mobility industry, and is working to change youth perceptions on exciting, diverse career opportunities. Monica Rodriguez   Manager, Detroit Promise Path   A leader in administering the Detroit Promise scholarship, Monica is on the ground helping Detroit Promise students enrolled in college adjust and navigate on a daily basis. Monica is dedicated to helping these students attain their degree and she has gone from helping an initial cohort of 400 students to more than 1,500. Managing five campus coaches, she is ensuring each student has help to manage issues, complications and their mindset.  On top of being a super star at the Chamber, she also runs and operates a Bloomfield Hills restaurant, Nippon Sushi Bar. She continues to show Detroit Promise students that you can do anything you put your mind to. Justin Robinson   Vice President, Business Attraction   Justin Robinson is on the forefront of bringing new business and jobs to the Detroit region. He is often the first face to greet international companies and delegations whilst leading a collaborative, regional effort to market the region with the 11-county partners.
